Supermarket that doesn’t always look like one.

Believe it or not, this is a supermarket.  This chain used to be exclusively for military and government workers, thus the name PX Mart.  — and the Chinese says, ‘Welfare Center.’  The stores often look like this: no pictures of food; no food on display; just a mysterious stairway going down.  You just have to know it sells food!  It took me six months of living in Taiwan to start recognizing these stores all over town!
