Rib and Asian Radish Soup

Ingredients: pork ribs, chopped; Asian radish; water, salt, vinegar, red dates(optional)

Start heating a pot of water. Add 1/2 teaspoon of white vinegar, and 1 teaspoon of salt.

In a separate pot, boil the chopped ribs, to clean them. When the water is boiling vigorously, spoon away the froth. After five minutes, pour the whole potful into the sink. Wash the rib pieces individually and place them into the soup pot.

Wash and peel the Asian radish. Cut into 1- or 2-inch cubes. Throw into soup pot.

Add red dates if desired.

simmer at least 30 minutes. A thermal pot can be used.
